To say I was a Jason Donovan fan back in the day would be an understatement. I wanted to marry him when I was eight years old. In my defence, I had watched the "Neighbours" Scott and Charlene wedding and knew every word to "Suddenly", so, at 8 years old, it was like i was married to him 😂😂
I wanted to be Kylie Minogue because she got to snog Jason!
The first album I owned was the "Ten good reasons" tape. I think my mum and grandma were ready to break the tape after hearing it about 400 times the week I bought it. But I will die on the hill that took many broken hearts is a great pop song.
Even today, I am still a fan of Jason's. Granted, I've come to terms that we will never be getting married 😂 but I'm quite happy to admit I am a Jason Donovan fan.
He's actually had a great career in musicals, so he's come so far from his "Neighbours" days. And I do still think "ten good reasons" is a great pop album.
